According to U.Today, citing Whale Alert data, Ripple unlocked two batches of 500 million XRP each from its escrow account on November 1, as scheduled, totaling 1 billion XRP, valued at approximately $1.25 billion according to the report. The report noted that this is a routine monthly unlock and does not mean all tokens will remain on the market; Ripple has historically re-escrowed most of the unlocked tokens, retaining a portion for operations, liquidity, and ecosystem activities.
