Noam Solberg, chairman of Israel's Central Elections Committee, stated that even if suspicions of foreign interference were confirmed, it would not undermine the electoral process or the overall validity of the general election results, Al Jazeera reported. The Likud party had previously accused Arab parties of "stealing" votes and receiving Qatari funding without providing evidence; Qatar denied the allegations. The report stated that the Netanyahu bloc secured 53 seats, the main opposition bloc secured 48 seats, and Arab parties secured 19 seats, with neither of the former two able to form a government alone in the 120-seat parliament. The results are expected to be officially certified this week.
