THORChain Rejects Bitget's Request to Block $387.5 Million Hacker Address
According to The Defiant, Bitget lost $387.5 million in a hack and requested THORChain to block the attacker's address, but THORChain refused. THORChain co-founder Chad Barraford discussed in an interview whether the protocol could and should block hackers. Previously, Tether froze four THORChain vaults holding 1.45 million USDT on Tron, unfreezing them three hours later. In May this year, THORChain itself lost $10.7 million due to the GG20 vulnerability and suspended services for 39 days.
