CNBC: Meta plans to raise $20B to $25.5B through debt issuance to support AI investments
According to CNBC, citing sources familiar with the matter, Meta is looking to raise $20 billion to $25 billion through a bond offering on Tuesday to support investments in artificial intelligence infrastructure, models, and services. Sources said the offering size is expected to be roughly two-thirds denominated in U.S. dollars and one-third in euros, with final pricing anticipated to be determined on Tuesday afternoon. Meta declined to comment. The report outlines a financing plan rather than a completed issuance. Meta previously projected full-year capital expenditures of $135 billion to $145 billion in its third-quarter earnings report, and reported negative free cash flow of $2.12 billion for the quarter.
