AI inference startup Fal doubles valuation to $16B after raising $1.3B, led by Bessemer
AI inference startup Fal, a San Francisco-based company hosting AI video, image, and audio models, has doubled its valuation to $16 billion after securing $1.3 billion in its latest funding round. The Series F round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Nvidia, Sound Ventures, and T. Rowe Price. This valuation is double its $8 billion valuation from April, driven by surging demand for inference services. Fal surpassed $800 million in annualized revenue earlier this year. The company was co-founded in 2021 by Burkay Gur, a former Coinbase machine learning leader and Oracle engineer, and Gorkem Yurtseven, a former Amazon developer.
