According to a White House announcement, the U.S. President signed two bills passed by Congress on November 3. Among them, H.R. 1744, titled the "United States Commission on International Religious Freedom Reauthorization Act of 2026," extends the annual appropriation authorization for the commission through fiscal year 2028; H.R. 8205, titled the "Accelerating Access to Critical Therapies for ALS Reauthorization Act of 2026," extends the authorization for the Accelerating Access to Critical Therapies for ALS Act through fiscal year 2031.
