Russia and Ukraine launched a new wave of nighttime drone attacks against each other, resulting in damage to infrastructure and casualties on both sides. The Russian Ministry of Defence stated that its armed forces used drones to strike a logistics hub in Kharkiv belonging to Ukrainian private courier company Nova Poshta, a 330 kV substation in Dnipropetrovsk, and a dry cargo ship carrying military equipment in the Black Sea. Meanwhile, Ryazan Oblast Governor Pavel Malkov reported that the region was targeted by over 200 Ukrainian drones overnight, with falling drone debris causing fires in parts of an industrial zone and power transmission lines. According to independent Russian media outlet Astra, the attacks triggered a fire at the Ryazan Oil Refinery, which is owned by Russian state energy giant Rosneft.
