Israel's designated government-forming candidate Gadi Eisenkot stated that he is open to including Benjamin Netanyahu in a coalition government. Speaking at a ceremony at the President's Residence in Jerusalem, Eisenkot said he would welcome members of the Likud party and the Religious Zionist Party into a government led by him, and expressed openness to the inclusion of far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.
