The LEND token is the native token of the decentralized lending protocol ETHLend, a project founded by Stani Kulechov in 2017. The LEND token was launched in November 2017 through an initial coin offering (ICO) at an issue price of $0.02. The ETHLend project was later rebranded as Aave, and in October 2020, the LEND tokens were migrated to the new AAVE tokens at a ratio of 100:1, marking its transition from a peer-to-peer model to a liquidity pool model.
