The Open Network (TON) blockchain, with its unique multi-chain architecture and dynamic sharding technology, aims to achieve high scalability and efficiency. The network consists of a masterchain, workchains, and shardchains, and employs a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. The TON Virtual Machine (TVM) supports smart contract execution and, through deep integration with Telegram, provides a convenient Web3 experience for hundreds of millions of users. Recently, TON has undergone several infrastructure upgrades and plans to connect with the Bitcoin ecosystem via TON Teleport BTC. Its native token, Toncoin, has also been renamed GRAM.
