IFAC data show that on 1-28 December, 1,928,000 vehicles were sold in the national motor vehicle market, a decrease of 17 per cent from the same period last December and 3 per cent from the same period last month, while the cumulative number of retail sales since this year was 23,411,000, or an increase of 4 per cent; on 1-28 December, 2,134,000 vehicles were distributed by national motorists, a decrease of 19 per cent from the same period last December and a decrease of 19 per cent from the same period last month, and a cumulative total of 28,899,000 units since this year, or an increase of 8 per cent. On 1-28 December, the national market for new vehicles was retailed 1,1192,000 units, an increase of 5 per cent from the same period last December and 1 per cent from the same period last month, while the cumulative number of retail sales since this year was 12,664,000 units, an increase of 18 per cent; on 1-28 December, the national motorists distributed 1,261,000 units, a decrease of 4 per cent from the same period last December, a decrease of 16 per cent from the same period last month, and a cumulative total of 15,017,000 units since this year, an increase of 25 per cent. On 1-28 December, the retail penetration rate of new energy sources in the national motor vehicle market was 61.8 per cent; on 1-28 December, the national wholesale penetration rate of new energy sources was 59.1 per cent.
