The CSRC issues circulars on the promotion of quality development in the real estate investment trust (REITs) market. It proposes to promote the smooth and healthy development of commercial real estate REITs. Combining the characteristics of commercial real estate with the definition of market access arrangements for commercial real estate REITs, efforts are made to stabilize expectations, improve efficiency and better stimulate the dynamism of market owners and maximize market advantages. Emphasis is placed on supporting the issuance of commercially owned commercial real estate in a policy-oriented manner to increase the efficiency of distribution. REITs are encouraged to hold portfolios that are business-like, functionally complementary or operate synergisticly, facilitating cross-cutting asset integration, scaling up economies and risk fragmentation. Support for the involvement of financial institutions such as business codes, good governance and experienced bank insurance asset management companies in commercial real estate REITs. This is an effort to reach out to original stakeholders.
