Central Bank: Interbank lending volume in November rose 9.6% month-on-month
People's Bank of China (PBOC) The financial market performance for November 2025 has been released. Data shows that in November, the interbank market recorded a trading volume of 7.4 trillion yuan, down 17.3% year-on-year but up 9.6% month-on-month;bond repurchase transactions totaled 149.8 trillion yuan, down 6.8% year-on-year but up 13.9% month-on-month. Exchange-traded standard bond repurchase transactions reached 53.7 trillion yuan, up 12.3% year-on-year and 15.4% month-on-month.In November, the weighted average interest rate for interbank lending was 1.42%, up 2.5 basis points month-on-month; the weighted average interest rate for pledged repurchase agreements was 1.44%, up 3.2 basis points month-on-month.
