On December 31, Beijing issued its third batch of affordable housing construction and procurement plans for 2025. This batch of plans includes 9 new construction projects with 3,241 units, 1 acquisition project with 123 units, 2 completed projects with 1,857 units, as well as 7 municipal road and utility infrastructure projects (water, electricity, gas, and heating) corresponding to 4 projects scheduled to commence construction within the year. In 2025, the city constructed and procured approximately 67,000 units of affordable rental housing, achieving 135% of the annual target of 50,000 units. Additionally, nearly 100,000 units of various types of affordable housing were completed, reaching 125% of the annual target of 80,000 units.
