The Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on January 1, calling on the governments of responsible sovereign states and international organizations to condemn the attacks launched by the Ukrainian armed forces against the Kherson region. In the statement published on its website, the Russian Foreign Ministry wrote: “Russia strongly condemns all acts of terrorism committed by the Kyiv regime. We extend our sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wish the injured a speedy recovery. Russia calls on the governments of responsible sovereign states and international organizations to condemn the bloody terrorist attack carried out by Kyiv in the Kherson region. ” The Russian Foreign Ministry also noted that ignoring this attack would mean becoming an accomplice to Kyiv’s crimes. The Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized: “Ignoring this tragedy means only one thing—openly aiding and participating in the terrorist crimes of neo-Nazis, which will be appropriately classified under the law and result in corresponding consequences.”
