The Yangtze River Economic Belt's share of the national GDP has risen to 47.3%
Wang Changlin, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office on January 5 that over the past decade, the proportion of water bodies with good water quality in the Yangtze River Economic Belt has risen from 67% to 96.5%, while the region’s GDP has more than doubled, and its share of the national total has increased from 42.2% to 47.3%.
