Svmuu News: Today (April 22), Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Baghaei stated that Iran has not yet decided whether to participate in a new round of negotiations with the United States. In an interview with the media, Baghaei said that Iran participated in the first round of negotiations with the United States in good faith and with a serious attitude, but the U.S. side displayed a cold attitude, lacked sincerity, and maintained an inconsistent stance. He noted that Iran has made it clear that if attending the talks in Islamabad, Pakistan, serves the national interest, it will participate, but no decision has been made at this time. Baghaei stated that the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports constitutes an act of aggression, and that firing upon and seizing Iranian merchant ships is not the behavior expected of a country truly committed to a serious diplomatic process.
