SpaceX increased Tesla Megapack purchases to $295 million in Q2 2026, totaling $329 million for the half-year, to power its AI data centers
SpaceX's financial filings revealed the company spent $295 million on Tesla Megapack battery energy storage systems in the second quarter ending June 30, 2026. These purchases bring SpaceX's total spending on Megapacks to $329 million for the first half of the year. The Megapacks are being installed to help power SpaceX's Colossus AI data centers in the Greater Memphis area. Last year, SpaceX purchased $506 million worth of Megapack products from Tesla.
