Resmed's stock falls 7% after forecasting a soft FY27 outlook
Resmed's shares fell by around 7% after the company projected fiscal year 2027 (FY27) revenue in the range of $5.75 billion to $5.85 billion, which is below analysts' expectations of $5.92 billion. The softer outlook is attributed to suspended ventilator sales following a US FDA Class 1 recall, ongoing macro uncertainty, and inflation in electronic components and freight. The company expects a $75 million headwind in FY27 due to the suspension of Astral ventilator sales.
