The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that two vessels affiliated with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) were attacked on Thursday evening while transiting the Strait of Hormuz. No injuries were reported. The UAE condemned the incident as a "hostile Iranian attack" and a "direct threat to the stability of the region, its peoples, and the global energy supply." This follows a similar attack on an ADNOC tanker reported on Saturday. Iran has not yet commented on the accusations. ADNOC reports a total of 15 of its vessels have been attacked in the Strait since February.
