SK Hynix has officially recognized the newly established union representing production and office workers, the SK Hynix General Union, but has made it clear that the union has no right to participate in the chipmaker's ongoing wage negotiations. According to industry sources on Friday, the company sent a letter on Wednesday confirming the union's legitimacy. The union, established earlier this month, has approximately 3,470 members, accounting for about 10% of SK Hynix's total workforce.
