The clean-power producer's parent company, Clearway Energy Group, signed three long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Google in January to provide renewable energy for its data centers. The projects, representing over $2.4 billion in energy infrastructure investment, are expected to come online in 2027 and 2028. This significantly expands its existing partnership with Google. Additionally, Clearway recently signed over 600 MW of PPAs to extend existing wind farm contracts to 2041, including deals with two hyperscalers, with fixed pricing more than double prior rates, indicating increased value for its legacy assets in the AI era.
