Journalists Leak Data of Thousands of Curaçao Crypto Casinos, Including Rollbit and Stake, Following Regulator Hack
A team of journalists has leaked data on thousands of casino operators registered in Curacao, including major crypto casinos like Rollbit, 1xBet, Stake, and Roobet. This follows the island nation's gambling regulator revealing last week that it had been hacked. The leaked database contains over 40,000 documents related to the financial plans, audits, business structures, and funding sources of more than 1,000 Curacao-registered casinos and gambling companies. German journalist Lilith Wittmann stated that she collaborated with journalists from NDR, NRK, SVT, and Follow the Money to "extract" nearly 2TB of data from gambling authorities in Curacao and Malta.
