SkyAI, a Solana ecosystem company, announced that its board members will remain in their positions following shareholder protests, but the equity incentive plan was rejected.
Five board members of Solana ecosystem company SkyAI retained their seats at its annual meeting despite opposition from Forward Industries and Bastion Trading, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). However, shareholders overwhelmingly rejected SkyAI's proposed 2026 equity incentive plan, which would have authorized 5 million shares for stock-based compensation, with 22.5 million votes against and 5 million votes for. SkyAI's stock rose 4.4% on the day and is down 15.8% year-to-date.
