Patrick Witt, the White House crypto advisor who served as executive director of the President's Digital Assets Advisory Committee and spearheaded the push for the Clarity Act, has concluded his term. The Clarity Act aims to establish broad legislation for cryptocurrencies. While the House of Representatives passed its version a year ago, the Senate version stalled due to issues such as the treatment of stablecoin rewards and President Donald Trump's crypto holdings, failing to pass an initial procedural vote last month. Witt is the third senior crypto official to depart the White House.
