Thousands of students in Albania's capital, Tirana, attacked several government buildings, including the prime minister's office and the finance and interior ministries, on Wednesday. Part of the education ministry building was set on fire. The protests, which began on Tuesday, call for better university conditions and job prospects, fueled by anger over alleged corruption and lack of transparency from Prime Minister Edi Rama's government.
