Yemeni Government Accuses 21 Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Hezbollah Experts of Aiding Houthi Operations
According to Al Jazeera, Ibrahim Haidan, Minister of the Interior of Yemen's internationally recognized government, accused the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran and Lebanon's Hezbollah on Tuesday of deploying 21 experts—14 and 7 respectively—to assist the Houthis in planning and directing military operations. Haidan stated that their expertise covers missiles, drones, electronic warfare, and the coordination of maritime operations targeting commercial vessels, while warning that this threatens shipping in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and the Red Sea. The report also noted that Iran has previously maintained that the Houthis act independently, and Hezbollah has also denied involvement in the Yemen war.
