The National Foreign Exchange Administration publishes our balance of payments statement for the third and first three quarters of 2025. The data show that in the third quarter of 2025, our current account had a surplus of 14,165 million yuan and our capital and financial account had a deficit of 1714.4 billion yuan. In the first three quarters of 2025, the country had a current account surplus of $3529.1 billion and a capital and financial account deficit of $378.0 billion. In dollar terms, in the third quarter of 2025, our current account surplus was 1987 billion dollars, of which $26.95 billion was surplus trade in goods, $49.3 billion was deficit in trade in services, $29.6 billion was deficit in initial income and $8.1 billion was surplus in secondary income. The capital and financial account deficit was $24.5 billion, of which the capital account surplus was $100 million and the financial account deficit was $24.5 billion.
