The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has issued the "Opinions on Improving Housing Quality." The document proposes improving industrial support by encouraging real estate developers and construction companies to transition into integrators of "high-quality housing," integrating the entire industrial chain—including R&D, design, production, construction, renovation, operation and maintenance, and services—to foster new productive forces within the industry. Regions with a solid foundation will be selected to establish industrial clusters spanning multiple sectors, including building materials, home furnishings, and home appliances, to innovate product systems and service models. Pilot programs will be launched to cultivate new growth points in green building, accelerate the upgrading of green building standards, and drive the healthy development of upstream and downstream industrial chains. The standardization and standardization of building components and parts will be enhanced, and a specialized, large-scale, and information-driven production system based on standardized components will be gradually established.
