The cumulative number of travelers passing through the Zhuhai Highway Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge has exceeded 100 million
On January 6, the number of passengers traveling between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao via the Zhuhai Highway Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge officially surpassed 100 million. According to statistics from the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Border Inspection Station under the Zhuhai Border Inspection General Station, it took more than five years to reach the first 50 million passenger crossings, while it took only about one year and eight months to reach the second 50 million. In 2025 alone, passenger traffic through the port reached 31.34 million, marking the first time it surpassed the 30-million-passenger threshold in a single calendar year, representing an increase of over 140% compared to 2019.
