US Appeals Court Overturns Injunction Against Perplexity AI, Citing Amazon's Unlikely Success in Computer Access Claims
The injunction had temporarily barred Perplexity AI from operating its AI-powered Comet browser on Amazon's platform. The US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit found Amazon unlikely to prove breaches of federal and California computer access laws, and has sent the case back to the US District Court for further proceedings.
