TeraWulf's HPC Leasing Revenue Jumps 52% to $31.9 Million in Q2, Outpacing Bitcoin Mining
TeraWulf (WULF) reported that its high-performance computing (HPC) leasing revenue surged 52% quarter-over-quarter to $31.9 million in Q2, now accounting for approximately 71% of its total $44.8 million revenue. This segment has significantly widened its lead over the company's digital asset (Bitcoin mining) revenue, which remained relatively flat at $12.8 million. The company also reported a net loss of nearly $940 million, largely due to a $755.7 million adjustment related to warrants issued to Google. Following the quarter, TeraWulf signed a 20-year lease with Anthropic for approximately 401 MW, valued at about $19 billion in contracted revenue, and agreed to sell its majority interest in the Abernathy joint venture for approximately $530 million.
