The investment bank's report, published Wednesday, indicates that industries with greater AI exposure have seen slower job opening growth since the second half of 2022, particularly in Germany, Australia, and the U.S. Employment in call centers, for instance, is 39% lower than its historical trend in the U.S., 33% lower in Canada, and 27% lower in Germany. Goldman Sachs concluded that while AI-related hiring pressures are visible in global employment data, they remain limited to a relatively narrow set of industries and workers.
