Russian President Vladimir Putin met with U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner at the Kremlin on Saturday to discuss the Trump administration's proposal to end the war in Ukraine. During the negotiations, the two sides reached a limited ceasefire, with Russia and Ukraine committing not to attack each other's capitals for three days. Putin stated that Russia would not attack Kyiv for three days starting Saturday midnight; Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also said that Ukraine was prepared not to launch attacks on Moscow from now until Monday. The U.S. envoys are expected to visit Kyiv on Sunday.
