JPMorgan analysts, following a meeting with ASML CFO Roger Dassen, reported that the company is exploring ways to produce more than 110 EUV lithography systems in 2028. This target represents at least a 37.5% increase from the projected 80 EUV systems for 2027, with the expansion primarily driven by surging demand for AI chips. ASML's EUV machines are crucial for manufacturing leading-edge AI processors, and customers including TSMC, Samsung, SK Hynix, and Intel are expanding advanced-chip capacity. ASML effectively holds a monopoly in the EUV market.
