The UN Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on Iran released a report on Thursday stating that two US airstrikes in Iran may constitute war crimes, killing at least 178 civilians, including women and children. The report specifically noted that the US airstrikes on February 28 against a primary school in Minab and a sports center and residential area in Ramhormoz killed over 150 and 22 civilians, respectively, with the school attack resulting in the deaths of approximately 120 children. The mission believes that the US failed to fulfill its obligation to verify military targets.
