IRGC says four oil tankers struck by mines and catch fire in Strait of Hormuz, and shoots down US MQ-9 drone
Citing live updates from Al Jazeera and reports from Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that four "rogue oil tankers" attempting to pass through a no-go zone south of the Strait of Hormuz were destroyed after hitting mines and catching fire, and its forces also intercepted two other vessels. In addition, the IRGC air defense units shot down a US MQ-9 drone over Hormuz at 4:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday (01:00 GMT).
