Daqing Oilfield Sets New Record for Natural Gas Production in 2025; Green Electricity Generation Reaches 1.136 Billion Kilowatt-hours
According to China National Petroleum Corporation, natural gas production at the Daqing Oilfield has achieved 15 consecutive years of steady growth, with output surging to 6.1 billion cubic meters in 2025. Not only did natural gas production reach a record high, but the Daqing Oilfield’s self-consumption of green electricity also reached 1.136 billion kilowatt-hours in 2025, a 58% increase from 2024.
