Many Group, the parent company of pet insurance provider ManyPets, is integrating AI across its acquisition, underwriting, and claims processes. This initiative has led to a 40% increase in new business volumes and a reduction in acquisition costs. The company's AI claims assistant, Millie, reviews all claims and automatically settles more than half, resulting in approximately 50% of claims being paid within 24 hours. A GlobalData survey highlighted that speed and convenience are key factors for consumers purchasing pet insurance directly, with 22.8% of dog insurance holders and 19.1% of cat insurance holders citing a quicker purchasing process as their reason for direct purchase.
