The South Korean chipmaker announced a revised tentative deal on Thursday, increasing the default cash portion of its profit-sharing bonuses to 50% (from the previous 40%) and the stock portion to 50% (from 60%). This adjustment comes after union members narrowly rejected an earlier agreement. Employees who prefer more stock may still choose a share-based payout of between 50% and 100% in increments of 10%.
