Employers are increasingly using AI for screening, with 66% of recruiters planning to increase AI pre-screening in early 2026. While 81% of job seekers plan to use AI in their search, a significant portion of graduates remain unprepared: nearly one-third of graduating seniors believe AI skills are of little importance, and over half are not building AI skills for the future. The underemployment rate for college graduates has reached 42%.
